Join the MUAA!
The Marshall University Alumni Association is a non-dues based organization. Which means, by virtue of earning your degree, you are a member of the Marshall University alumni community. To become a member of the MU Alumni Association and to receive benefits offered by our organization, you simply have to make a gift!
To do so, you make a donation, in the amount of your choosing, to the Marshall University Foundation Inc., in the last 12 months.
Becoming a member of the MU Alumni Association allows you to receive national and local discounts, special access to Drinko Library and The Rec, eligibility for the Alumni Legacy Scholarship for children and grandchildren, and knowledge that your gift is contributing to the continued growth of Marshall University!
Members Benefits List
Membership in the Marshall University Alumni Association provides a host of benefits to members while supporting Marshall University. Find a way to connect with members of the Marshall Family near and far, receive free career assistance, take a look at an old yearbook virtually, or assist the Office of Recruitment in their mission to recruit new students. With an annual donation to the Marshall University Foundation, Inc., alumni will maintain status as Contributing Members to the MU Alumni Association.

ALUMNI AMBASSADOR PROGRAM
The success of the Marshall University Office of Admissions Alumni Outreach Ambassador program depends on a network of volunteers serving in a variety of roles. This program has been established to assist the Marshall University Office of Admission in fulfilling its mission to support the recruitment and enrollment goals of Marshall University.
ALUMNI AWARDS
Nominate an outstanding individual for an alumni awards to be presented during the annual Alumni Awards Banquet in April.
CAREER SERVICES
Alumni Association members can take advantage of the resources of the Office of Career Education for free. You can meet with career consultants, participate in career fairs, take part in on-campus interviews. Be sure to join their new job portal, Handshake, to explore career options or post openings for alumni.
CHAPTERS
New to town or can’t find any Marshall Alumni to watch the games with? We’ve got you covered. Our chapters offer great environments to watch the Herd play, connect with other Herd alumni locally, and the opportunity to make a difference in your community.
HOMECOMING

The Huntington Quarterly provides active alumni a subscription to its Marshall Magazine.

ALUMNI LEGACY SCHOLARSHIP
This program provides a tuition scholarship waiver to offset the cost of non-resident tuition to first-time freshmen whose parent or grandparent graduated from Marshall University. In addition, the student must meet the following criteria:
- Non-resident status
- Full-time enrollment
- Meet minimum ACT/SAT scores and H.S. GPA
